An organization of nearly 4,000 members, with a steadily growing membership.

At the Volk Field Combat Readiness Training Center, Air Force Forward Air Controllers take up position on a hillside near their High-Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) to direct A-10 close air support aircraft to assist "defender" forces during Air Base Ground Defense training (ABGD).

We’re here to promote the social welfare of the Combat Control Team community

"To promote the social welfare of the community; To assist disabled and needy war veterans and members of the US Armed Forces and their dependents, widows and orphans of deceased veterans; To carry on programs to perpetuate the memory of deceased veterans and members of the US Armed Forces and to comfort their survivors; To conduct programs for charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes; To sponsor or participate in activities of a patriotic nature and To provide social and recreational activities for its members."
